Madeleine is an undergraduate student studying chemistry, marine science, and biochemistry. She is  passionate about marine natural product chemistry and plans to pursue the field in her graduate studies. She has briefly worked under Dr. William Fenical and is excited about the unique molecular structures produced by marine bacteria as well as their dependence on environmental stressors.
