Melissa Giacobbe is a third-year undergraduate student double majoring in Marine Science and Biochemistry & Molecular Biology. She serves on the executive boards of two student organizations: as Treasurer of the SCUBA Club and as Food Sustainability Chair for the ECO Agency. This fall, she will begin working in Dr. Popendorf’s lab, where she is excited to explore marine biomedicine as a potential focus for her future PhD studies.
